What Will I Find?

This past Sabbath we heard from Pastor Mark about what Yahshua wants to find when He returns. As believers, there are some things we should be doing or at least thinking about regardless of whether or not He returns during our lifetime here on Earth.

Matthew 24:45-46 highlights the fact that Yahshua has given us rule over his house. What does that mean? It means were are not just called, but, in a way, commanded to heal and feed others. This goes for believers and non-believers alike. The Great Physician has given us His tools and blessing to heal, cure, feed and take care of His house (His people).

The next things we are supposed to do are watch and pray (Matthew 13:32-37). The Gospels talk about the importance of being ready. We don't know exactly when Yahshua will come back, but we need to be ready for when He does. It can be easy to relax and fall into an easy pattern of simply cruising through life, but we are called to live an active faith for Him!

Finally, Luke 18:1-8 speaks on determination and never giving up. Yahshua ends with the phrase "When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?" Yahshua is specifically seeking out those who live a life of faith that never quits. Again, this life will not always be easy. It takes a certain kind of strength and determination to continue along the path that He has for us. Our job is to have that kind of faith by curing, healing, feeding, watching and praying.
