The Miracle of Abundance

This past Sabbath we heard from Pastor Mark about the Miracle of Abundance. Some believers may think that they have to have everything in order to do Yahweh's work: money, connections, the best worship team, brand new equipment, etc. Those are all good things, but Yahweh doesn't require us to have any of that. In this story in Matthew 14, Yahshua is driven to compassion for the people who gathered to hear Him speak. They had a need and He had a way to fulfill it.

The disciples were only focused on one thing, their lack. The key word in verse 17 is "only". They looked at the meager amount of food that was offered to them and the large crowd that had gathered, and thought that there was no way to possibly feed all of them. You may feel inadequate in your own life and question how you could possibly make a difference for the Kingdom. Here's the good news, Yahshua has the resources we need! instead of focusing on the things we don't have, we should be focusing on Who we do have.

By the end of the meal, everyone had been filled. No one left feeling hungry or not satisfied. It is no the size of the offering that matters, but your attitude and heart. Nothing that is offered through faith will ever be insufficient to Yahweh. If you "only" have a tiny bit to give Him, but you are willing and glad, then He will fill you to abundance. Start living with the mindset "what I have is more than enough for Yahweh, and He will multiply it. You may not have much to bring to His table, but He will never let you leave empty!
